AIWG marks Interfaith Week at Morgan Stanley

Thank you to Morgan Stanley for inviting the AIWG to mark both Interfaith Week and Islamophobia Awareness Month through a joint panel hosted by the Muslim Forum and the African Caribbean Business Alliance.

Our conversation explored identity and visibility, and how visible expressions of who we are, whether through faith or hair (such as the hijab or hair braids), can still lead to bias and discrimination in professional and social spaces.

By adopting truly inclusive practices and policies, organisations can help challenge stigma, create belonging, and root out discrimination in all its forms.

The AIWG highlighted challenging bias through education, advocacy and partnership, and the importance of genuine allyship in tackling Islamophobia.
